Nine Who Care is an awards program that publicly recognizes individual volunteers, groups and businesses for service contributed to their communities and this year, for the first time ever, nine finalists will win money for a qualifying charity! Nominees must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of North or South Carolina.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

Use the link below to send us your Nine Who Care nomination. Nominations received after 11:59pm on July 31st will not be considered.

Our judges will select nine finalists from all nominations received.

Viewers will then be asked to vote for their favorite Nine Who Care finalist and the highest vote getter will win a $2,000 Grand Prize to be paid to a qualified charity. The other eight finalists will each win $900 to be paid to a qualified charity.

Voting for the Nine Who Care "Grand Prize Winner" begins on September 1st and ends at 11:59pm on September 15th.

All Nine Who Care finalisits will be highlighted on WSOC-TV during the 9 Family Focus “Salute to Nine Who Care” beginning in October.

NOMINATION INSTRUCTIONS

Nominees must be 18 years of age or older. Nominees must be a resident of North Carolina or South Carolina.

Please follow all instructions carefully. Incomplete nominations or nominations received after the deadline will not be considered.

Do not send additional documentation. We cannot accept or return supporting material (photos, letters of support, etc.).

Non-winners from previous years are encouraged to re-apply using the 2009 Nomination Form.

You may complete the Online Version of the Nine Who Care Nomination Form to submit your nomination. Once you complete and submit the online form, the information will be forwarded to the proper department.
