Jon Bostic is headed to the linebacker capital of the NFL.
The Chicago Bears took Bostic, from Florida and Palm Beach Central HS, in the second round tonight with the 50th overall pick.
He was a four-year player for the Gators and started most of the past three seasons. As a senior, he was third on the team with 68 tackles. He had 6.5 tackles for loss and two interceptions.
Bostic finished his UF career with 237 tackles, 7.5 sacks and five interceptions in 51 games.
He was the third Gator taken, following DT Sharrif Floyd (No. 23) and S Matt Elam (No. 32).
