Half of the Final Four is set, and the third team to get in will be Florida or Michigan. Those two play in the Elite Eight today at Cowboys Stadium (2:20 p.m., CBS).
For the Gators, it is an opportunity to move past brutally disappointing Elite Eight exits the past two years. Michigan, meanwhile, is looking to end a 20-year drought.
The winner of this game will face Syracuse at the Georgia Dome on Saturday. Wichita State also has a spot and will take on Duke or Louisville.
Mike Rosario leads the Gators with 16 points per game during the NCAA tournament and is averaging three rebounds per game. Erik Murphy is averaging 12.3 points and 5.3 rebounds, and Patric Young has given Florida 8.3 points and seven rebounds.
Michigan’s top player is sophomore Trey Burke, a point guard who is among the best in the country. He is averaging 18.9 points and 6.8 assists this season.
