Auburn's Oct. 19 game at Texas A&M; will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT and air on CBS. It's the first time since the trip to South Carolina on Oct. 1, 2011, a Tigers game against an opponent other than Alabama has been featured as the SEC's game of the week.
After holding on for a 30-22 win over Ole Miss, Auburn (4-1, 2-1 SEC) has a Homecoming date against Western Carolina this Saturday. A&M; (4-1, 2-1) travels to Oxford this weekend to take on the Rebels, and barring an upset -- and a catastrophe on the Plains -- two 5-1 teams will meet at Kyle Field in two weeks.
Auburn's defense, especially the defensive line, has shown some improvement this year, but the Tigers will have their hands full with the Aggies. A&M; has the SEC's best offense, averaging 586.4 yards and 49.2 points per game. If Gus Malzahn's team is going to leave the Lone Star State with a win, it will likely take a herculean defensive effort.
