The third quarter went much better for South Carolina. Carolina came out in the I formation seeking to run Mike Davis, and Davis and the Gamecocks' offensive line responded with a dominant opening drive capped off by a long Davis TD run. Carolina added another seven a couple of drives later on a 95+-yard drive capped by a Dylan Thompson TD run. The Gamecocks' defense has also played well, getting two three-and-outs and an interception on a WR pass. Heading into the fourth quarter, the Gamecocks have a big decision with a fourth-and-short in the red zone. Go for it and try to put the game out of reach, or take the three and go up by seven?
