Saving While Dining Out

I usually drink water when eating out.
Upon leaving I ask for a to-go cup and take whatever ice is left with me.
When I get home, the ice that is melted is poured in a used water bottle and is frozen for the next day's use.
It is eventually all used as opposed to the restaurant dumping it in a garbage can and throwing it away.
