Gaston County Schools To Give Out More Swine Flu Shots Monday
Gaston County Schools will be giving out another round of Swine flu vaccines to students Monday.The health department has already given out 1,600. Two-thousand children at 11 schools are expected to get vaccinated.Charlotte Mecklenburg schools hope to start running clinics in schools by the end of month.Students were sent home with permission slips on Friday.The Union County Health Department is offering H1N1 vaccines this week but an appointment must be made in order to receive a vaccine. Pregnant woman and children can get shots Monday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Health Department in Monroe.
