BELMONT, N.C. — Architectural Digest has named Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden in Belmont one of “the most beautifully designed botanical gardens” in America.
The website named its top eight picks, and the 380-acre garden, situated on the banks of Lake Wylie, was the only garden in the Carolinas to make the list.

Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
If you’d like to visit, the garden is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission costs $12.95 for adults, $11.95 for seniors age 60 and up and $6.95 for children ages 2-12. Children under age 2 are admitted free.
