Boston, MA -- (Sports Network) - Boston Celtics forward Darius Miles was suspended Friday by the NBA for 10 games after violating the league's anti- drug program.Miles, the third overall pick of the 2000 draft, is suspended without pay, and his violation of the program involved phentermine, which is classified as an amphetamine. A disappointment since being drafted by the Clippers, Miles has played for the Blazers, Cavaliers and Clippers and has averaged only 10.6 points and 5.2 rebounds a game during his career. He missed the last two seasons after undergoing microfracture surgery and was given a non-guaranteed contract with Boston in late August.
