Story

Cabernet Sauvignon

The Cabernet Sauvignon is a red grape and is one of the most widely planted and most popular worldwide.

The grape’s skin is very thick which leads to a high tannin content in wine.

High tannin content aides the structure and ageability of wine.

Flavor: The wine is full-flavored with a smooth finish and lingering taste. Aged wines tend to mellow.

Aroma: Depending on where the grapes are grown, when they are planted and how long the wine is aged, Cabernet Sauvignon can carry the aromas of; black currant, chocolate, ripe berries, oak, pepper, earth, tobacco, cedar, violets and heather.
