Riesling

Riesling are the German grapes famous for late harvest dessert white wines.

Left on the vine longer than other grapes, the Riesling loses water and builds up sugar concentration due to the effects of evaporation or freezing.

This grape has a history of more than 600 years.

Flavor: Wine is fruity, crisp and sweet

Aroma: Riesling can be aged for as little as a few years and as much as 100 with greatly varying results. Generally it smells of apples, peaches, honey and rose blossoms.
