CMS Reschedules Football Games, More Rain Ahead

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools has rescheduled all high school football games set for Friday night because of the rainy weather.All the games will be played Monday evening at 7 p.m. at their previously scheduled locations. The North Mecklenburg High School versus J.M. Robinson High School game in Concord will also be played Monday at 7 p.m.CMS officials said the field conditions and the heavy rains forecasted for Friday evening contributed to the decision to postpone the games.Severe Weather Center 9 Meteorologist Tracey Lewis said showers will continue to push across the Carolinas until late tonight.
