SUV Overturns In Mint Hill, One Person Killed

Investigators are trying to figure out what lead to a deadly accident in Mint Hill late last night.

Police say a black SUV flipped over around 11 p.m. Monday night at the intersection of Lebanon and Margaret Wallace Roads.

The impact of the crash cracked a nearby power pole.

Emergency crews blocked the intersection while they tried to free the victim.

Police have not said if there were other passengers riding in the SUV.

So far, the victim's identity has not been released.
