2 Injured After Construction Accident In North Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Two people were rushed to the hospital after a structure collapsed at a north Charlotte construction site.Medic confirmed the two were transported from a site off Panos Drive and Smith Corners Boulevard near Northlake Mall to Carolinas Medical Center shortly before 1 p.m.Chopper 9 flew over the scene and it appears the wooden support structure for the roof fell.The workers' injuries are not life-threatening.
