HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. -- Huntersville police don't know where a doctor is who is facing new sex charges. The eye doctor was supposed to turn himself in to police late Wednesday to face four new charges of sex crimes involving patients.Officers first arrested Dr. Christopher Reynolds on August 2. He’s accused of touching a woman inappropriately during a routine exam at the Northcross Eye Associates office.Since then 20 other patients have contacted police with similar allegations. Officers now have four additional warrants for Reynolds’ arrest.Police said they can’t find Reynolds or his attorney. However, the charges are only misdemeanors, so even if Reynolds leaves town and gets arrested the charges aren't serious enough to extradite him back.RELATED STORY: More Arrest Warrants Issued For Huntersville Optometrist RELATED STORY: Allegations Stack Up Against Huntersville Eye Doctor RELATED STORY: Huntersville Optometrist’s Office Closed Monday RELATED STORY: Police Say Huntersville Doctor Touched Patient In Sexual Manner
