Woman Attacked, Raped In West Charlotte

Police Looking For Rape Suspects

Police said a woman was driving home from a night out with friends when she got into an argument. The driver of the vehicle let her out of the car along Mulberry Road in West Charlotte around 2 a.m.

The woman told police that as she was walking home two Hispanic males pulled up along side of her in a green pickup truck. The two men got out of the truck and hit the woman in the face, knocking her unconscious.

Police said that when the woman awoke she was in a wooded area and she was partially undressed. The woman called a friend to pick her up and take her to a local hospital.

According to police, tests were conducted at the hospital and it was determined by medical personnel that the woman had been raped.

Police are asking for the public’s help. Anyone who saw two Hispanic males in a green pickup truck along Mulberry Road Saturday morning is asked to call Crimstoppers at 704-334-1600.
