Police: Man Caused Accident While Driving Intoxicated

GASTONIA, N.C. -- Officers said a drunken driver caused an accident.Gastonia police arrested James Anderson Crowder, Jr. Tuesday night.Police said Crowder drove on a sidewalk before rear-ending a car on South York Road.Officers told the Gaston Gazette Crowder had a blood-alcohol content more than twice the legal limit.
