Suspect Arrested For Shooting Teen In Head

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A 15-year-old boy is fighting for his life after getting shot in the head just after midnight Saturday.Police said the teenager was shot while sitting in a car in a Wendy's parking lot. Even though the teen was found at the corner of Eastway Drive and Kilborne Avenue in east Charlotte, police said the shooting did not happen there.The boy was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.A police report released Saturday said a female suspect was taken into custody, and that she admitted to shooting the boy. However, police have not released the suspect's name.Eyewitness News will continue to follow this story.
