Kannapolis Wal-Mart Closes After Overnight Fire

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. -- A Wal-Mart store in Kannapolis is closed until further notice. A fire broke out there around 11 p.m. Friday.Firefighters said there was heavy smoke inside the building. They said they believe the fire started in the craft and floral design area.Overhead sprinklers did turn on. Now investigators are looking for what started the fire.
