Xenia, Ohio -- An Ohio woman has been sentenced to life in prison with no chance for parole for killing her roommate with an ice pick through the ear.

Sandra Matthews-Johnson was convicted of killing Ottie Tomlinson last August after an argument.

Prosecutors said the 67-year-old Tomlinson was going to kick out the 54-year-old Matthews-Johnson for being jobless and failing to do housework.

Matthews-Johnson's attorney argued that Tomlinson may have fallen into the ice pick.
