Police: Argument Turns Into Deadly Shooting In Northeast Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police are investigating a deadly shooting in northeast Charlotte, that they said an argument escalated into a deadly shooting.Police were called to the scene on William Reynolds Drive near the Plaza and Harris Blvd just before midnight Sunday.One neighbor told Eyewitness News, he heard several gunshots. Then he said he looked out his window when the gunfire stopped and saw a man lying in the street. That neighbor also told our news crew he saw an SUV speed away after the shooting.A woman was also found shot. She was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.Police have not identified either of the victims in the shooting. No suspects have been named at this time.
