CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. -- A raid in Chester County, S.C. brought new meaning to the term "cash crop." Investigators burned $11 million worth of pot Wednesday evening. They found thousands of young, small plants on a plot of land southwest of Chester. The small plants were difficult to see from surveillance helicopters. Investigators said they only found the plants because of a tip from a land surveyor.By the time deputies got there, the plants' caretakers were gone."We searched the area pretty good, had the bloodhounds go around, so we could pick up a track, but they never could," said Chester County Sheriff Robby Benson.Detectives took fingerprints and DNA samples in hopes of pinning down suspects in the future.
