Triple Shooting Angers Parents In Shelby

SHELBY, N.C. -- Shelby police have not arrested a suspect or given a motive in Friday afternoon's triple shooting outside the Ramblewood Apartments on Ramblewood Drive.Police said the shootings happened around 1:30 p.m.Three people, still unidentified, were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries."It's senseless," said neighbor Kim Kilgore. "People need to be thinking about folks' kids out here because anything could've happened."The shootings happened close to a basketball court and playground many neighborhood children use daily.
