Family and friends remembered murdered insurance investigator Sallie Rohrbach in Wake County Sunday.

During her funeral services, loved ones remembered her as a woman who lived life to the fullest.

Rohrbach’s body was found in a wooded area in York County last Sunday.

One friend, James Harris Jr., saw Rohrbach just days before her death. He said she had a premonition her life might end soon.

“She said, ‘I can sense that and I feel like it’s near,’ and I shared that with her, and I told her too that I felt the same way…not knowing four days later that the Lord came and took her home with him,” Harris said.

Rohrbach disappeared while investigating an insurance business in south Charlotte. Forty-year-old Michael Howell, an insurance agent, is charged with her murder. Howell remains in jail.
