July 2 11:19 a.m. Armed Robbery From Business in University City Division: The Panda Express at 9300 JW Clay Bvld. advised they were robbed at gunpoint by 3 B/Ms. The subjects are in their early 20's, all wearing ski masks and sunglasses. Subjects fled the scene in a white Jeep.

July 2 1:15 p.m. Stolen Autos in Metro Division: Metro Division officers responded to 3900 Plainview Rd. and recovered 4 stolen vehicles. Auto Theft detectives contacted.

July 2 2:52 p.m. Armed Robbery From Person in Eastway Division: The victim advised they were robbed at gunpoint at 3300 Bonneville Dr. The subjects are described as 1 B/M; tall, thin build, wearing glasses, and dressed in white and 1 H/M; heavy set wearing a ski mask and baseball hat. K9 responded.

July 2 3:33 p.m. Armed Robbery From Person in South Division: The victim advised they were robbed at gunpoint by two H/Ms at 7700 Pineville-Matthews Rd. Suspects are described as one wearing all black clothing and the second wearing white shirt and jeans. Personal property was taken. Suspects fled the scene in a purple 4 dr. vehicle.

July 2 4:46 p.m. Armed Robbery From Person in Eastway Division: The victim reported that two black males, one armed with a handgun approached her in the parking lot at 3300 Eastway Dr. and took her 2004 gray Dodge Stratus, NC tag VTH-8668. There were no injuries.

July 2 5:04 p.m. Death Investigation in University City Division: A male was found deceased in his residence at 6300 Mallard View Ln. The death appears to be a suicide. Homicide detectives are investigating.

July 2 7:33 p.m. Rape/Sexual Assault in Steele Creek Division: The victim reported that she was raped by a known suspect at 3400 St. Vardell Ln. Sexual assault detectives are investigating.

July 2 9:46 p.m. Assault With A Deadly Weapon With Injury in Independence Division: The victim reported that he was securing his truck in the parking lot of 1700 Charleston Place Ln. when a black male, 6' tall wearing a white t-shirt and armed with a pistol approached him. The victim and suspect struggled over the weapon, the weapon discharged striking the victim in the hand. The suspect fled on foot. The victim was transported to CMC-Main with minor injury.
