Police Search For 2 Suspects In Drive-By Shooting

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police are searching for two men involved in a drive-by shooting in southeast Charlotte.

It happened just after midnight on Saturday.

The victims said they were driving on Independence Boulevard when a van pulled up behind them and started shooting. One of the victims was hit in the head and chest. A bullet grazed the second victim’s leg.

Both people were taken to the hospital. They’re expected to be OK.
