Neighbor Helps Police Catch Man Accused in Home Break-in

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police are praising some Dilworth residents for looking out for their neighbor. John Teed said his wife heard a noise coming from their neighbors home friday afternoon. When she looked, she saw four men breaking in to the home. Teed's wife was able to write down the license plate number. Police later arrested 18-year-old Ernest Hill.Police and dilworth commnunity leaders say they've been stressing the importance of looking out for your neighbor. The victim of the break-in, Alison Hall, got her television and computer back.We checked and found Ernest Hill has a previous arrest for breaking-and-entering back in April. He's out on bond tonight. Police are still searching for the other three suspects.
