Teen Stabs Man Breaking Into His Home

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A 14-year-old stabbed a man who broke into his family’s home.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said two men broke into the home on Cindy Creek Lane around 8:30 a.m. Saturday. The teenager was the only one home at the time.

The homeowner told Eyewitness News her son confronted the men and stabbed one of them in the stomach. She said her son is shaken up but OK.
