CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were on the scene of a death investigation in Myers Park throughout Sunday night.

Authorities said a man was found dead at the Albrecht Manor apartments on Roswell Avenue at about 8 p.m.

Officers have not released the man’s name.

Homicide detectives were called in to investigate the death, even though officials are unsure of how he died. Homicide will continue to investigate until the medical examiners office determines the cause of death.
