York County Driving Instructor Found Guilty Of Indecent Exposure

ROCK HILL, S.C. -- A former driving instructor was found guilty on five counts of indecent exposure Wednesday evening.A judge in York County sentenced 59-year-old David Zitcovich to five years in prison and five years probation.Zitcovich ran a driving school in Rock Hill and was accused of exposing himself to five teenage girls on separate occasions in his car during driving lessons.Zitcovich claimed his genitals were exposed accidentally because he wore loose-fitting shorts.One victim, Jennifer Griffin, said the five-year sentence was just."For the other girls, I wouldn't want this to happen to anybody else. I wouldn't want anybody else to have to go through this, nobody's daughter. I think that maybe next time if a case comes up, he'll take it more serious,” she said.Zitcovich will also have to register as a sex offender.
