Seven-Car Crash Shuts Down Interstate

HICKORY, N.C. -- A chain-reaction crash involving seven cars shut down I-40 in Hickory for about an hour Wednesday.The accident happened near the Highway 321 interchange.N.C. state troopers said one of the drivers was seriously hurt.A pickup truck ended up sliding through the wet median and down a steep embankment.Driver said it was raining when the crashes happened.
