Man Found Dead In Huntersville Home; Foul Play Suspected

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. -- Investigators found a man dead inside his lake house early Thursday.They spent the day on Cramur Drive in Huntersville. They’re releasing few details about the situation.Neighbors told Eyewitness News that a husband and wife lived in the house, they split up and the woman moved out.Investigators said she stopped by Thursday morning, knew something was wrong and called police.Officers found the man dead in the living room. They said they also found clues which could point to foul play.Huntersville Capt. Michael Kee said, "There were some things, from what we could see outside the front door looking in, that were not ordinary."The death could be Huntersville's first murder case of the year. Officers have not released the victim’s name or any information on how he died.One neighbor, Tommy Hager, said such situations have to be kept in perspective. "Stuff like this, it happens most everywhere at some point in time. I guess it's just getting up in this area too," he said.
