Albemarle native, Kellie Pickler, has been staying busy since appearing on WSOC-TV's popular show, Gimme The Mike! Charlotte in 2004.

It has been announced that the American Idol Season 5 finalist will be a special correspondent on ABC's "Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest" on December 31, 2008.

Picker was recently nominated for New Artist Of The Year for the upcoming 42nd Annual CMA Awards.

She is also featured in the current issue of People magazine along with Taylor Swift and Julianne Hough.
