Police: Possible Drunken Driver Crashes In North Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A driver had to be taken to the hospital overnight after he crashed his car in north Charlotte.Police said the man was speeding on North Hoskins Road near Pampona Drive at about 2 a.m. He lost control while maneuvering a curve and hit a fence.The driver is expected to survive.Police believe the man may have been drinking alcohol.
