Deputies Investigate Payday Loan Shooting

YORK COUNTY, S.C. -- Deputies in York County were back out Thursday morning to search for a group of robbers who shot and killed a clerk Wednesday night.The shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Anyday Payday Loans on U.S. Highway 21 near Carowinds..Channel 9's newspaper partner, The Herald in Rock Hill, reported three robbers wearing masks robbed that business and shot the clerk.That clerk died at Carolinas Medical Center.Investigators found the getaway van near the scene but haven't made any arrests or released the clerk's name yet.
