CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police said a man was shot about seven times Saturday morning. That man is expected to survive.

It happened at about 5 a.m. on Albemarle Road near Sharon Amity Road.

The victim was taken to Carolinas Medical Center.

Police have not said what led to the shooting or if they have identified any suspects.
