Girl Involved In Lincoln County Pond Crash Dies At Hospital

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A little girl who was inside a sport utility vehicle that crashed into a Lincoln County pond last week has died.Taylor Peyton, 5, and her brother John, 2, had been at Carolinas Medical Center since the crashJohn remains in critical condition.The children's mother, Chastity Spivey, died hours after the crash.Police said she drove into the pond last Tuesday night as she followed her boyfriend.RELATED STORY: Mother Pulled From Submerged SUV Dies; Small Children Critical
