CMS Board To Vote For Changes To Magnet Schools

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg School Board will vote on changes to magnet schools Wednesday night.Superintendent Peter Gorman wants to make several changes, including cutting some programs and adding sixth grade to the Montessori programs at three elementary schools.Those schools are Chantilly, Highland Mill and Park Road.The school board is also supposed to vote on school assignment plans and whether to give themselves a raise.
