CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for Ashe County in North Carolina until 3:45 p.m.At 3:17 p.m., NWS radar indicated a storm capable of producing a tornado near Flatwood, moving southeast near 15 mph.In addition to tornadoes, this storm is capable of producing penny-size hail and destructive straight-line windows.Persons in the warning area are advised to seek shelter immediately.
