Industrial Plant Catches Fire In Matthews

MATTHEWS, N.C. -- Investigators may not know until Tuesday what caused this fire at an industrial plant in Matthews.Workers were inside the building when it caught fire around 5pm Monday.They all got out safely from East Coast Container on Campus Ridge Road. The company makes steel drums.Two firefighters were treated on the scene for heat-related problems.
