CMPD Significant Event Log For June 30/July 1

June 30 7:48 p.m. Robbery from Person - Armed at 200 W. Woodlawn Rd in Westover Division. The victim advised that she was robbed at gun point by two black males in a hotel room. The victim was not injured.June 30 9:59 p.m. Robbery from Business - Armed at 9400 Monroe Rd in Independence Division. 2 black male subjects entered the business, one with a firearm, and demanded money from the register. One subject was wearing a white t-shirt, denim pants and was armed with a silver handgun. The second suspect was wearing a blue baseball cap and red t-shirt. Both fled the scene on foot, with no known direction of travel. No one was injured.June 30 11:45 p.m. Robbery from Person - Armed at 3300 Little Rock Rd in Freedom Division. The victim was approached by two subjects, armed with a handgun, and was robbed of her purse and personal items. The suspect fled on foot.July 1 1:07 a.m. Rape/Sexual Assault at 6600 Montcrest Dr in Steele Creek Division. The victim advised that the suspect attempted to have vaginal intercourse with her, against her will, but she was able to escape and contact the police.July 1 3:28 a.m. Robbery from Person - Armed at 1400 W. Sugar Creek Rd in North Tryon Division. The victims were walking along W. Sugar Creek road when an older model dark blue sedan stopped and 2 black males armed with knives got out (a third stayed in the vehicle). The suspects robbed the victims of half a pack of cigarettes. The victims fled on foot, and no one was injured.
