July 2 5:01 p.m. Robbery from Person - Armed at 3900 Glenville Avenue in North Tryon Division. The victim received a small cut to her forehead during the course of an attempted robbery.

July 2 7:47 p.m. Robbery from Business - Armed at 5600 N. Tryon Street in North Tryon Division. The Dunkin Donuts was robbed by 2 armed B/M suspects who fled on foot from the area of the business. No injuries, no shots fired. Related to #2009 0702 202407 and #2009 0702 204300.

July 2 8:24 p.m. Robbery from Business - Armed at 8500 University City Blvd in University City Division. The Subway was robbed by 2 armed B/M suspects who fled on foot from the area. There were no shots fired and no injuries. This is related to #2009 0702 194702 and #2009 0702 204300.

July 2 8:43 p.m. Robbery from Business - Armed at 9500 University City Blvd in University City Division. The Circle K was robbed by 2 armed B/M suspects. Suspect #1: light skinned B/M, clean shaven w/ short hair, dark blue or black shirt with yellow stitching visible on the seams of the shirt and some type of red emblem on the right sleeve. #2: light skinned B/M w/ dreads, wearing a baggy white t-shirt with the sleeves cut out and a white tank top type shirt underneath. No shots fired, no injuries. Related to #2009 0702 194702 and #2009 0702 202407.

July 3 12:37 a.m. Robbery from Person - Armed at 4500 Rose Ridge Place in Westover Division. The B/M victim was walking to his apartment when he was approached by 2 suspects. Suspect #1 produced a hand gun and took cash, wallet, cell phone, and keys before both suspects ran in opposite directions. The victim yelled at suspect #1 asking about getting his keys back and then Suspect #2 fired 3 shots in the direction of the victim. There were no injuries. Suspect #1: B/M, 20, shoulder length dreadlocks blk shirt and black shorts. Suspect #2: B/M, blk shirt, blk shorts, and a blk hat.

July 3 2:20 a.m. Robbery from Person - Armed at 7300 North Tryon Street in North Tryon Division. H/M victim advised that 2 B/M suspects, one armed with a gun and one armed with a knife approached him as he rode his bike to the store. Victim advised that the suspects took money from him. The victim gave inconsistent statements initially. This case is still being investigated. No shots fired, no injuries.

July 3 2:40 a.m. Accident in Roadway-Property Damage at Independence Blvd & Sardis Road North in Independence Division. One vehicle accident knocked down power lines and traffic signals causing all of Independence Blvd, inbound and outbound to be completely shut down. Unknown ETA on when the road will re-open. CDOT, State DOT and Duke Power are being contacted.

July 3 2:49 a.m. Robbery from Person - Armed at 2300 Catalina Avenue in Metro Division. 5 B/Ms, at least one of which was armed w/ a gun, entered the residence and handcuffed the male an female residents. They demanded money, drugs and other property. The male victim was pistol whipped and is being transported to the hospital with NLT injuries. It is unknown at this time if anything was actually taken from the residence.
