CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police said two people were shot in a drive-by shooting overnight in west Charlotte. When investigators arrived, they said they found drugs in the home.

Investigators are looking for three people in a gold Lincoln vehicle. They said the people in the car drove by the home on Remington Street and shot a man and woman.

Remington Street is between Brookshire Freeway and Beatties Ford Road.

The man and woman are expected to survive. Police don't believe the shooting was random.
