CHINA GROVE, N.C. -- Police said a Loomis & Fargo employee was robbed Friday morning as he got out of the armored van to put money in an ATM in China Grove, N.C.The employee said a dark skinned male in his early 20s approached him, displayed a handgun and told the employee to give him money.The employee gave the man a blue bag containing money and said the man ran toward railroad tracks behind a nearby business. The suspect’s face was covered by a shirt.Police said the suspect may be driving a small black car that was seen leaving the area at high speed. Police said they conducted a K-9 track and helicopter search, but were unsuccessful.Anyone with information on this investigation should call Sgt.
