Charlotte Condo Buyers Send Complaints To State A.G.

Eyewitness News reported a major Uptown condo project, 210 Trade, may not happen. Now, the North Carolina Attorney General's Office may end up getting involved.

One woman said she filed a complaint with the N.C. Attorney General's Office Monday. A realtor who said he put money down said he plans to do the same. An Atlanta man, Neema Ardebili, said, "Am I holding my breath to see this money? No. Do I believe we should get the money back? Absolutely, we should."

Eyewitness News broke the story about 210 Trade nearly two weeks ago. People have been e-mailing Eyewitness News reporter Jason Stoogenke ever since. They said they put down more than $10,000 on high-end condos and haven't heard from the developer, Flaherty and Collins, in months.

In the meantime, Eyewitness News has reached out to the developer by phone and e-mail, but has not heard a response.
