CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The remnants of Tropical Storm Ida moved through Charlotte in waves Tuesday night pushing water levels up in flood-prone creeks.People who live beside Little Sugar Creek were keeping an eye on the rain and the creek level."You get kind of scared, because you think 'i gotta move the car, make sure there's nothing out, make sure the dog is inside," said Stephanie Black, a homeowner in north Charlotte."Now my neighbors are gone," said Black, "so we used to have people who would call us if we were asleep, but we don't have that any more."Neighbors said they planned to check water levels throughout the night.
