Union County Offers Swine Flu Vaccine To High Risk Groups

MONROE, N.C. -- Health Officials in Union County will give out 3,000 doses of the Swine flu vaccine Saturday.The vaccines are only for people in high risk groups, which includes pregnant women, children ages 6 months to 24 years old, healthcare workers, emergency workers and people with chronic medical conditions.The clinic opens at 8:00 a.m. and will close at 2:00 p.m.It is being held at the Piedmont High School on Sikes Mill Road in Monroe.
