Car Crashes Through Fence

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police said a car crashed through a fence in east Charlotte overnight.

The homeowner told police the car crashed into his yard on Driftwood Drive Thursday just before 2:30 a.m. He said several people then ran away from the car.

MEDIC took a passenger from the car to CMC, but there's no word yet on that person's condition.

Police are looking for the people who ran away.
