Charlotte Jewelry Store Employees Chase After Robbery Suspects

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police said two men tried to rob a south Charlotte jewelry store at gunpoint on Friday.

Officers surrounded Delgado’s Jewelry on South Boulevard around 5 p.m.

An eyewitness described the scene as chaotic as employees tried to chase down the would-be robbers in the Starmount shopping center.

Investigators said the men didn’t take anything and ran off. Police don’t have good descriptions of the men.
