SC Holds Tax-Free Weekend For Guns

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- South Carolina is holding a tax-free weekend for shoppers looking to purchase guns.The weekend started at midnight Friday and will run for 48 hours.Shoppers will not pay state or local taxes on handguns, rifles and shotguns. Taxes still apply to ammunition and accessories.Last year, South Carolina had the only tax holiday on guns.
